A 350 amp through-arm robotic MIG gun with a low-stress unicable built for precision and long cable life.
TA3 robotic air-cooled MIG gun feeds through the robot arm (ThruArm) for outstanding precision and reliability in high-volume production. At its core is the LSR+ (low-stress robotic) unicable: unlike conventional unicables, it uses a rotating power connection that reduces torsional stress as the robot moves, while a protective external conduit shields it from harsh welding environments. A re-engineered neck clamp delivers consistent clamping force, and a precision keyway system ensures accurate alignment and quick neck replacement. Additional standard neck options expand your TCP choices and cut the cost and lead time of necks that used to be specials. The TA3 replaces the ThruArm G1 series and works with existing G1 air-cooled necks, power pins, and consumables, with no change to gun part numbers. It’s available as a complete package, from power pin to contact tip, with clutch or solid mount and optional wire brake, air blast, and I.C.E.™ technology.

Ordering rules
Repeatable TCP, every neck change.
TA3 robotic MIG guns are engineered to hold an accurate, repeatable tool center point. A precision keyway system aligns the neck the same way every time, and a re-engineered neck clamp delivers consistent clamping force. With a wide range of standard necks, you can match the TCP and working envelope to your application without waiting on special-order parts.
Ranges vary by robot make and model. Adding wire brake increases TCP by approximately 36–37 mm on most robots. *Available as a separately ordered neck. See the spec sheet for exact TCP values by robot model.
